when creativity strikes - never second guess

I was sitting on the longest bus ride ever this morning and to my surprise - I didn't get annoyed at the traffic, or the bus driver that kept stopping to tell people he couldn't fit anymore people and proceeded to fight with the ever growing line, or even that fact that the previous night I had slipped the ending of The Half-Blood Prince to my roommate who apparently didn't know it already. -.-* Instead, I was inspired just looking out the window listening to my old music that I still haven't moved off my iPod... sometime horrible music is still good.

My first idea is for a motion graphics piece - maybe for a show opening. It's pictures taken with polaroids that move through a landscape. They have an amazing un-perfectness to them. It would work well with film that bounced in and out of perfection. Strangely enough, the song I was listening to was not the one that worked so well with the idea... on the bus home I listened to Cities of Foam - Out of Reach. It has a good 45 sec at the beginning and 15 at the end.

My 2nd idea is Faces in Machines. It's something I see all the time... and why not do some photography / vector art to go with it? I really want to do something with the fans in my roommate's car... and cars, and coffee makers. :) I really want to do some screen printing when we get back. I'm going to make the 'stencil' artwork for it this summer, perhaps this week when I'm listening to Harry Potter. We have a scanner at work - which will work nicely.

I also like these graffiti pieces....
